Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MultiCalcWise, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. These terms apply to the public website, calculators, blog posts, supporting content, and related site features unless a specific page states otherwise.
MultiCalcWise is intended to provide free educational calculators and informational content for general planning and reference use. The site is not a bank, lender, brokerage, insurer, law firm, medical provider, tax preparer, emergency service, or regulated advisory business. Your use of the site does not create any fiduciary, advisory, medical, attorney-client, accountant-client, or other professional relationship with MultiCalcWise.
You are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically. We may revise them as the site evolves, as laws or platform rules change, or as we add or remove features. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimer of Liability and No Professional Advice
All calculators, blog posts, examples, planning ranges, and explanatory content on MultiCalcWise are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are designed to help users think through scenarios, compare options, and understand formulas or rules of thumb. They are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your circumstances.
Nothing on the site should be treated as financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, lending approval, underwriting guidance, insurance advice, or any other form of regulated or individualized professional service. If a calculator touches a high-stakes area such as taxes, debt, retirement, real estate, health planning, nutrition, or legal exposure, you should confirm the result with a qualified professional and with the official documents or rules that apply to your situation.
Calculator outputs are estimates built from formulas, assumptions, public guidance, and user inputs. Even when the formula is standard, the result can still be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your actual circumstances. Interest rates change. Tax rules change. Insurance costs change. Medical conditions vary. Household budgets are personal. The site cannot capture every variable that affects a real-world decision.
You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and use the site. If you rely on a number, range, example, or explanation from MultiCalcWise, that reliance is at your own risk. We make no promise that any output is correct for your individual case, that any page reflects the latest rule in every jurisdiction, or that any tool is appropriate for a decision involving your money, health, business, family, or legal rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MultiCalcWise disclaims all warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted operation. The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every calculator is error-free, that every assumption is current, or that use of the site will produce any specific outcome.
Permitted Use
Subject to these terms, you may access and use MultiCalcWise for your own personal, educational, editorial, research, or internal reference purposes. You may run calculators, read guides, share public page links, and refer other people to the site so long as your use complies with law and does not interfere with the site’s operation.
You may not use the site in ways that exceed that permission. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- using the site for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- using bots, scripts, headless browsers, scraping tools, or other automated systems to extract content, mirror results, monitor the site at scale, or harvest calculator logic or page content;
- attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or recreate proprietary presentation logic, design systems, site behavior, or non-public implementation details except to the extent such limits are prohibited by law;
- probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the site or its supporting infrastructure without express written permission;
- interfering with site performance, security, advertising implementation, analytics, or normal user access;
- reformatting, framing, or embedding substantial portions of the site in a misleading way that implies sponsorship, partnership, or authorship that does not exist;
- using any page, form, input, or site feature to submit stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment information, credit card numbers, banking credentials, health identifiers, or similar sensitive information.
Because MultiCalcWise is a free public site, we reserve the right to block, throttle, limit, or deny access to any user, system, region, or traffic pattern that appears abusive, excessive, unlawful, or technically harmful. We are not required to continue operating every calculator or page indefinitely.
User Responsibility and Verification
You are responsible for entering accurate information, reviewing assumptions, and verifying whether a calculator or guide is appropriate for your use case. A tool can only process the inputs and assumptions available to it. If you enter incomplete, unrealistic, or incorrect values, the result may be misleading even if the underlying formula works as designed.
You are also responsible for deciding whether a result should be confirmed against official documents, lender disclosures, tax forms, plan materials, medical guidance, or a qualified professional. In many situations, that confirmation is not optional. It is part of using the site responsibly. A calculator may help you narrow a question, but it does not remove the need for independent judgment.
If you use MultiCalcWise for business, editorial, educational, or advisory support inside your own workflow, you remain solely responsible for how those outputs are interpreted, presented, or relied upon. We do not accept responsibility for downstream use of a number simply because it appeared on the site.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, MultiCalcWise and its creator own the site’s calculators, written content, page design, branding, logos, visual layout, site organization, custom copy, and related original materials. The site is protected by copyright, trademark, unfair competition, and other applicable laws.
You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, reproduce, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the site without prior written permission, except as allowed by law. Reasonable linking, short quotations with proper attribution, and ordinary sharing through browser or social tools are generally permitted so long as they do not misrepresent authorship or substitute for the original page.
“MultiCalcWise,” site branding, and related source identifiers may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or official partnership without permission. If you reference the site publicly, you may identify it by name in a truthful, non-confusing way, but you may not use our branding to imply that your service, app, article, or business is ours.
The site does not generally provide public user accounts or public user submissions. If in the future you send us suggestions, bug reports, calculator ideas, feedback, or other communications, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to review, use, adapt, and act on that feedback without owing compensation, unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing. That does not mean we claim ownership of your personal identity or private information; it means feedback can be used to improve the site.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MultiCalcWise and its owner will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, statutory, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site. This includes, without limitation, losses relating to financial decisions, investment outcomes, lending decisions, tax filings, health planning, employment choices, budgeting decisions, business use, interrupted access, lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or reliance on site content.
We are also not responsible for outages, delays, browser incompatibilities, device issues, third-party script behavior, ad-network behavior, analytics errors, search inaccuracies, or mistakes caused by inaccurate user input. A calculator can only work with the numbers and assumptions provided to it, and some pages rely in part on third-party services or public information that may change without notice.
If, despite these limitations, MultiCalcWise is found liable to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the site, the maximum total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to use the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one U.S. dollar. Because MultiCalcWise is generally free to use, this cap will usually be very low.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law. In those cases, the affected provisions should be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted while the remainder of the terms remains in effect.
Third-Party Links, Services, and Indemnification
MultiCalcWise may link to third-party websites, government agencies, official publications, calculators, products, ad destinations, or reference materials. Those links are provided for convenience, sourcing, or context. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, policies, practices, or security of third-party websites or services. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms and privacy practices.
The site also uses third-party services such as analytics, advertising, hosting, content delivery, and other technical tools. Those providers operate under their own legal terms and privacy frameworks. MultiCalcWise does not promise that every third-party service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or suitable for your specific use case.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MultiCalcWise and its owner from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, scraping or automation against the site, or any content or information you submit directly to us.
Policy Changes and Effective Dates
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes may reflect updates to site features, advertising systems, legal requirements, content models, access restrictions, intellectual-property practices, or clarifications to existing rules. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
Unless a different notice is required by law, updated terms become effective when posted. In some cases we may communicate important changes through other reasonable means, such as a site notice, an update banner, or a linked notice from a related policy page, but we are not required to provide individualized notice to every visitor.
Your continued use of the site after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with the revised terms, your remedy is to stop using the site.
General Legal Terms
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with any policies linked from them such as the Privacy Policy, represent the general agreement between you and MultiCalcWise regarding use of the site unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any calculator, page, feature, category, design element, or technical integration at any time, with or without notice. We are not required to maintain backward compatibility, preserve every historical page, or continue publishing any specific tool indefinitely. Site availability may be affected by maintenance, technical problems, vendor outages, browser issues, ad-technology issues, or events outside our control.
